Food Pantry Event at Assemblies of God Church Coker Orile Lagos.

In a heartwarming collaboration with The Assemblies of God Church in Coker Orile, Lagos, we hosted a Food Pantry Event, which brought much-needed support 310 widows by providing essential food items to families and individuals facing difficult circumstances. Held as part of the church’s ongoing outreach initiatives, the event attracted a large turnout, with volunteers and church members working together to distribute food packages to those most in need.

The event catered to a wide range of vulnerable groups, including widows, low-income families, single parents, and the elderly, many of whom have been hit hard by the rising cost of living. Each food package contained staples such as rice, beans, cooking oil, and other essential items aimed at alleviating hunger and ensuring basic nutritional needs were met.

Throughout the day, there was a palpable sense of unity and compassion as both church members and volunteers served with joy, ensuring that everyone in need was attended to. The food pantry event was more than just a handout—it was an opportunity to connect with the community, listen to their struggles, and offer not only physical support but also emotional and spiritual encouragement.
